Late Shri R. N. Nayak was a visionary leader, a devoted social worker, and the founding pillar of Dwaraka Credit Souharda Sahakari Sangh Limited. With a deep-rooted commitment to serving the community, he established the bank in 1998 with a mission to provide accessible, ethical, and community-driven banking services to the people of Ankola and surrounding rural areas.
In a time when formal banking was a distant dream for many common citizens, Shri R. N. Nayak stepped forward with a vision to bridge the financial gap by creating a cooperative that belonged to the people and worked for the people. His belief in trust, transparency, and togetherness laid the strong foundation upon which the bank continues to grow.
His Legacy
Shri R. N. Nayak was more than just a founder, he was a guiding light who emphasized value-driven service over commercial success. Under his leadership, Dwaraka Credit earned the trust of thousands and became a symbol of cooperative strength and stability in the region.
Even after his sad demise on 21st December 2013, his principles and dreams continue to guide the bank. His legacy is not only remembered but is actively carried forward by his son Shri Mayur R. Nayak, the current Chairman of Kuber Group, under whose leadership the bank now operates.
